Title: create a favorite folder link?

Hello all,
Hope somebody can help me out.

I usually browse to a folder containing my songs and then play from there. To browse I use the left hand, links (Drives & devices) and so on.

It gets tedious to browse deep into the folder structure.

I am wondering will it help if we can create links (like favorites) that points to a particular folder and stays in the left panel tree structure?

Please let me know.

Why not use Artist or Album in the tree?  Click on Audio to open.

Or try the search window in the upper right.

You can add the Navigation button to the top or bottom toolbar. It can do what you requested. Right-click the toolbar area to customize it. See the attached screenshots.

Log in to the forum if you can't see the attachments.

Awesome. Thanks. Exactly, that's what I was looking for.

Unfortunately, 99% of my songs are not tagged or sorted using any tags. I just browse to folders (sorted into various folders) and then listen. Hence the above feature becomes extremely handy for me.
By the way, I have been your customer since v12. Its a great product. Kudos!

dbr - do yourself a favor.  It seems you, like most of us, don't like tedium.

Let MC's fine tools help pull tags from your directory / filenames if possible.  Getting this meta data into MC will greatly enhance your music selection and enjoyment process.  Let us help you...
