Title: [Solved] Upgrade Problem
Post by: dlmax63 on March 28, 2011, 02:00:54 pm
I'm attempting to upgrade and everything goes fine, however, when selecting the final "purchase" button, I keep getting sent back to the previous page where info (including CC) is entered. The indicated invalid fields are the CC number and CC expiration date. I use RoboForm, so for the off chance that it was formatted incorrectly I entered the numbers manually...no difference. My default browser is Firefox 4. I also attempted to do it through IE 9 and Chrome 10. All 3 browsers sent me back to the previous page with the same indicated errors. I logged on to my CC account on line and there were no problems with my account.

Is there a problem with your CC verification? Where do I go from here to save the 4$ price increase effective tomorrow?

We will double check, but in our logs, your credit card is being denied.  We don't receive any reason, so please ask your credit card company.

Ok, I contacted my CC's customer service (a representative in the U.S.A. yeaaa!). They indicated that no requests have come through since an on line purchase a couple of weeks ago and that there is no hold on my card ($19,000+ available credit limit).

What next?

I don't have a good answer for you.  Our system is working.  You could wait or you could try another card.  The price won't change until tomorrow.

Sorry for the problem.

Please try the purchase again, I think there was a server glitch.

JohnT,

Thank you for looking into it. I tried again and it went through fine. I had a feeling it may have been on your side...the CC company would have had complaints if it had been on their end.

thanks again!
