Any chance of having some mouse support for doing things like forward and backward search of music and video,it's really the only thing that puts me off using this as my main player.
-
Are you talking about using the mouse to scroll through the song/video while it's playing? If so, I'm with you. This is the ONLY reason that its not my primary media player.
DEVELOPERS: Is there any way to make the mouse wheel scroll through videos during playback? Zooming in and out of a video while it's playing is an interesting feature, but not nearly as practical as scrolling! Thanks.
ps I will likely purchase the player if this worked

marantz we all have our habits :) but MC is so much more than a player, that why it differs
but you are after mouse gestures, i did a search and found this http://www.tcbmi.com/strokeit/
maybe it can help you :)

Thats not what i'm after at all,all i would like is the option to rewind or fast forward a song or video using the mouse wheel, you can do it in MC but only if you put the mouse pointer right over the seek bar,it would be nice to be able to do it with the pointer anywhere on the screen as long as the MC window is in focus.

but you have mcc commands http://tinyurl.com/3hhna9d
and in combination with the above you sure can accomplish your needs
also you have the "remote option", you can set it up with the keyboard..i'm not sure about mouse move though, but you can check maybe
also i think you can do this with macros, using for example AutoIt or similair

Never mine forget it,i'm not going through all that stuff to get something that should be standard,i would not mind for the fact that i paid for version 15 and paid for the upgrade to 16,i will go back to my old faithful player that was free.

I am not sure what you are referring to because I have full functionality with both of my mice.
What mouse do you have?
