Title: MediaCenter to produce internet radio?
Post by: Spielhaug on March 29, 2011, 11:30:32 am
Hi

I have an Pioneer Home Theater Receiver with the option to play internet radio. I have it hooked up to my home network via cat5 cable.

As an interim solution before I get a dedicated Squeezebox or HTPC, is it possible to have MC (on my server in the cellar) send "internet radio" via my home network and into my receiver? I can then use my iPhone to control the server.

MC can play to some receivers if they support UPnP or DLNA.  There's information on our wiki.

You might read the specs on the mfr web site.
