On the "Playing now" page there's only the big cover and the one track playing at the moment. Would it be possible to have a full list there of what's in Playing now? I often have full audio books in one of the zones, and jumping 40-50 tracks can be a pain. Much easier to be able to long click in a list and make it jump there at once, NetRemote style. Possible? :)

Love the gizmo progression so far. I still want to get rid of my Netremote devices (and use my rooted and hacked B&N Nook as my main remote) and this feature would certainly help that cause.

Nook Color is my son's Android! :) I've got an Notion Ink Adam, which is very cool. I'm keeping my cell phone with NetRemote and NetRemote on the Windows computers, but since they're not on Android I use Gizmo there.

There's a list available in Gizmo's Playing Now at the moment, but it's only accessible during playback.
So, during playback, try pressing the left-most button at the bottom of the screen, and you should see the PN list...

Sorry, but I can't find it. In the Playing now screen there are only play/pause, stop, previous and next buttons, nothing that gives me a list. And in the main screen I only see the buttons to go to the library and search and threw same Playing now screen, nothing else.

What version of Gizmo are you running? I'm running v16.0.36, and during playback, I see this...

I don't have that button on the left. I'm running 16.0.59, so it seems to be a bit newer than your version. Strange if they have removed a function. I am on MC 15, maybe that's the thing? I see a picture of the button you have to the left in the Android market as well, but it's not in my setup (Notion Ink Adam Android tablet). Very weird stuff...

I've just upgraded to .59 here too, and the button is still there. I've no idea why it might be missing on yours... Is it still missing in landscape orientation?

Yep, tried that too. But do you have MC 16 or 15? That may be the difference. If not, there has to be some setting that's different.

That's probably it, then. Did you try Gizmo on 15? And if you did, could you see that button?

Truthfully, I cannot remember. I only got really serious about Gizmo when playcount and last.fm syncing were introduced in early v16 releases.
Audio playback takes about 100 Mb every 30 minutes... I need to negotiate a new data deal with Orange before I can retire my ageing iPod Video :)
If no-one chips in before, I'll reinstall MC15 over the weekend and report back for you.

Wow! I suddenly understood that we were talking about apples and oranges here! You mean when you play the music to the Andriod unit! I meant when using the Android unit as a regular remote control for MC! I hadn't even tried playback through the Android unit before I tried now. And I see the Playing now list there. My multi-room system covers almost every room in my house, and I rarely go out (I have a home office), so I have never needed the playbeck through Android unit.
Sorry, I should have been more precise in the first post. What I would like is to see the Playing now list that is in the selected zone on the media server when I remote control it! I'm guessing you're not seeing that, right?

You are correct, there is no Playing Now list available when using Gizmo to play "There".

Also, the playlist doesn't currently appear if it's longer than 100 tracks. This is done for performance, but we plan to remove the limitation in a future version.

D@mn... I haven't upgraded beyond 15. :( Any chance of an update to MC 15 that has this function?

Upgraded... Must say that the upgrade process as the fastest and least painful ever for MC! :) I originally had decided not to upgrade since I had all I needed in 15, but this Playing Now list in Gizmo was worth the price of upgrading for me.

I hope this is coming soon.
I don't seem to have performance issue in WebRemote or BitRemote over that limit.

Hi,
I have the same issue but with playing to the "Server" there is not playing now list button. Is there any chance you could please add that list button when playing to the "server". I use the server to play to my stereo.

Matt is there aany chance you may add funcionality to the list as well? what I mean is to be able to change the order of the songs with like drag and drop the way it works on the MC16?

I've upgraded to MC17 and downloaded manually the new Gizmo.
It would be so cool if the limit of 100 songs could be removed with MC17.

I agree - I have been browsing large playlists on NetRemote running on an Dell Axim circa 2003 so there's got to be technology that is going to allow this in Gizmo - or at least give us the option to enable it accept the delays associated with doing this. (There is a delay in NetRemote when I load a large playlist - once it is loaded however it seems to run fine)

If the limit cannot be removed for some reason, can you just limit what you show us to next 100 tracks; to at least give us something to ease the "browsing" of playlists?

I think the track limit has been removed. I'm currently shuffling a full library of 18,000+ music files using gizmo, and the list icon appears on the playing now screen. 100+ items appear on list...
Try installing the latest version from the following link (in conjuction with MC build 17.0.33):

It's not even there with WebGizmo! Is it possible to remove it?

More than a 100 track list would be very nice.
If you play the songs from your 5-star-playlist it would be nice to see the list and choose.
