Title: How to handle mass file relocation?

Hello,

I've been pointing MC to the same network shares containing all my media for years. The box with those shares seems finally about to die, and so right now I'm exploring my options as to where (and how) I want to store the media when the box finally croaks. I'm definitely not going to want to just delete the entries in MC and rescan the new location, because I have a lot of notes/tags in MC that are not embedded in the files themselves. But...there stands a good reason that my files may not wind up in the exact same location/file structure as they were before, so...what's the best way to handle this and not lose anything?
