Relatively simple question here. I want to copy my music library and convert my lossless music library to mp3 in the copied location so that I can fit it on my IPOD. I then want to manage my ipod (ie manually add/remove tracks, etc) from my J River Media Center.
To Clarify, I want to keep all of my lossless library in tact for home listening, but I want to also have a second (cloned) mp3 library for my ipod.
Can you guys offer advice on how to do this?
Thanks in advance!

Select the files you want to convert and then go to tools-->Advanced Tools-->Convert Format
In the convert format window click options and then configure Converter and Encoding settings as desired.

ok, thank you. If i do this, will it permanently convert the original file format? This would be a nightmare. I just want to be sure it duplicates the library (copies every file in a new mp3 format) and doesnt CONVERT every file permanently.

Look at the options. You'll see there are options to Replace or Leave files. You also get to set the conversion directory.
