Title: Audio Books

Hi Can someone help with getting Audio books into the library.

I have created a name in the tree in standard veiw and I have added a folder on my hard drive called Audio Books.

How do I get MC to display them in the Audio Book menu??

you tag them for example audio book in the field media sub type (..or else)
and then set the filter equal your tag under customize view

or you set filter = "your audio book path" under customize view



first though you have to import them..drag and drop or autoimport

if you have a lot of "splitted" mp3 parts, i recommend merging..i have used this http://mp3merger.cjb.net/ a copule of years now..it is truly super  :) (just drag and drop the files from within MC @ mp3merger)

I am having a problem trying to cut down the amount of categories that I have listed showing uo for Audio Books.

As in my Video i have movies docos etc

Well I have now got Audio Books in the tree in standard view on the left.
On the right I am trying to customize the view so that it will just show the books and I have added Author and Title but in the title all my videos show.

have you set the filter correctly ? under customize view -> set rules for file display

I have now set Title Author Genre

Its not bad but the Genre shows all my genre but I dont think there is a way around that

I dont have anywhere to attach a file I hav looked in Additional options and its not there.
I am using Firefox but have also tried Explorer.
