Title: Hulu: Queue, Saved Searches, and Season/Episode Numbers
Post by: cncb on April 08, 2011, 03:52:18 pm: I would like to request these to be added to the Hulu area in Theater View:

1) Access to Hulu Queue.
2) Allow for saved Hulu searches in MC.
3) Show season and episode numbers when available.

Post by: zurn on May 17, 2011, 10:38:02 am: I second this. It's great to have it there but compared to the advances made in the Netflix area it's pretty hard to use. When searching I can't really seem to find anything.
Btw I assume this has more to do with Hulu's API than with MC development.

Could be, but Playon is somehow able to do #1 and #3. Saved searches would be in MC only (not rely on the API) and would be nice if they can't access the queue or allow browsing by network and shows like Playon allows. I would request that at least the "Search" item gets moved to one of the first roller positions because as it is now I have to scroll through all the other items to get to it.

Couldn't agree more. Same with YouTube. Search needs to be instantly available IMO.

Oh, and after recently getting into HULU myself, Theater View's integration needs to include the OP's suggestions because it's simply too hard to use as it is. At a minimum, it should allow me to play my queued videos.

The ability to login so I can access my queue and +Plus services would be great.

PS Raym, does your VPN connection slow of an evening? I'm in Melbourne Oz and find it slows between about 7:30 and 10:00 to the point where playback is a stop start affair...
