Title: Replay Gain for Dummies
Post by: shelly on June 04, 2002, 02:34:52 pm
I've read previous threads, the help file, and David Robinson's site and I still find that I have unanwered questions, such as, if all files have been analyzed through properties, is the replain gain in the DSP studio redundant? Does DSP Studio use the information previously analyzed or does it reanalyze the files?  Does DSP studio need to be open or does it work in the background?  That's it for starters.

Listening to: 'Waters Of March ' from 'A Twist Of Jobim' by 'Al Jarreau/Oleta Adams' on Media Jukebox

GO WINGSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! (Sorry, couldn't help myself)

Replay Gain in DSP Studio uses the values analyzed in File Properties. It needs to be enabled in order for Replay Gain to be "on."

DSP Studio works in the background.

Thanks, Doof.  It makes sense to me now.
