Title: Convert multiple .mp3 into single .mp3 file?
Post by: drosoph on April 10, 2011, 02:33:38 pm
Is there a way to convert multiple .mp3 files into a single .mp3 file?  I haven't found any way through MC or otherwise to get this to happen.   I have an entire lecture series in MP3 format that I want to make into a single file .... options???

A Google search for "merge multiple mp3s into one mp3" returned hits for multiple appropriate programs.

After perusing descriptions of several of them, Merge Mp3 struck my fancy.

CNET rated it 4 out of 5 stars and you can download it from them at:
http://download.cnet.com/Merge-MP3/3000-2169_4-10410936.html

Enjoy.

EDIT: Just tried it, I found it to be fully intuitive and very easy to use: runs without installation, small footprint (1,663 KB), uses 2,648K of memory.

Launch the program, look above at the menu bar and click on the folder icon (or press Ctrl + D) to put your items in the open window. Or if you want, just drag and drop a folder or files onto the open window.
Click the merge icon (or press Ctrl + M) and you're done.

Perfect Supersnake!  I had searched Convert, Compress, Combine, never MERGE.  Arghhh ... It worked perfectly
