Title: plays 2 songs at same time

Have around 3,000 songs, it all plays great, but every once in awhile, this thing wants to play 2 songs
at the same time, it will play about 2 minutes of one song, then switch to another, play it for about 2 minutes, then back to the first. no crossfading, just real abruptly, any clue what would cause this?

Are you starting playback from MC or from Explorer?  If Explorer, maybe another program is playing one track.

It happened to me when I tried to change cover art 1 wk ago. it started to play a song that was 4 songs away in the playlist. fixed by stopping playback.
