Title: Media Server, file type support - bug or work in progress

I get the feeling Media Server only servers mp3 (probably any audio) files. At least it doesn't include my avi files in the shared library.

Would this be a bug or is it intentional so far?
I can imaging serving video is a little more difficult than serving audio - or at least different.

You are correct. The MediaServer only serves audio files (only some types to comply with licence restrictions). The few times I had to serve Live Tv over a LAN, I used the Windows Media Encoder. It should also work fine for avi
