Title: Low sound from download flac

I download an Nielsen album in Flac 16 and when I play from my laptop throught the Naim Unitique the sound is low. I have to higher the sound almost twice a regular cd. Anything I can do to obtain the same sound. I notice the same (but not thet much) with albums I copied in MC. Merci beaucoup.

You could set a permanent higher Gain under the DPS settings. this would be a global setting for music I think. But I'm not sure how you would increase the volume of just flac, and not mp3 for instance.

You could do what Mr. Haugen says but just for the individual files you want by 1.  enabling Volume Leveling in DSP tools; 2.  Filling a value in db in the file tags, field "Replay Gain."  Do this by using the Analyze Audio tool under Tools/Advanced Tools on the tracks to calculate the Replay Gain automatically.
