I have just come across an interesting problem, the other day I updated my DivX installation to the latest version (v7 to v8), and noticed last night that video files are playing audio but the video is not playing, the player opens in full screen and the thumbnail shows but only the sound can be heard.
I was at a loss of what was recently installed and remembered the DivX player update, I have uninstalled DivX, restarted and now the video files are playing.
Is this a known issue, is DivX player even required?
My video files are mainly AVI (not sure the encoding but I believe mostly xvid) and a few MKV's. My environment is Windows 7 x64 and MC16 (Build 75).
If there is anything else that is needed please let me know.
