Title: OFF Topic - New Jethro Tull DVD
Post by: Jazzwolf on June 03, 2002, 06:22:08 am
If there are any Jethro Tull fans here and haven't heard of this release then I suggest you RUN to your local shop and buy this. It is an excellent release with great concert footage and it even features the original 1968 Line-up of Anderson, Abrahams, Cornick and Bunker playing some classic songs in a pub! (Man, did some of these guys let themselves go) It is always a joy to hear Jethro Tull play because these guys love to play and they don't go through the motions. They understand that there is someone in the audience possibly seeing them for the first time. Yep, I highly recommend this DVD.. so why are you reading this?.. Didn't I tell you to RUN to your store?

Hi Zevele,
Yep, an old hippy at heart
Actually the concert is very recent. It's really more than a concert, Interviews, the original members playing together again in a pub is a real highlight as they still sound excellent. Ian Anderson also states that band has been something for everyone, (i.e. Blues band, Progressive Rock, Hard Rock, Concept album band)Really, Really enjoyable.

Sorry to hear about the computer. 56kps?!! I don't know anything except 56kps
