Hi -- using handheld sync feature (MC16 latest build on Vista) to convert lossless FLAC music files to MP3's (LAME "Extreme" VBR) in a folder on the same drive. MC16 crashes predictably at start of conversion:

Thank you!
p.s. I can't seem to recreate the same crash on the same machine with the latest build of MC15.

Please try this build:
http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/MediaCenter160081.exe
It fixes a crash with MPC files, but it could be related.
If that won't work, try MC's logging under Help. Read the previous log from the bottom up.

I tested this using build 75 and build 81, and unfortunately can't reproduce it here.
I did this:
- Created a virtual handheld
- Set audio conversion to MP3 (VBR Exteme) with 'Always convert' for the conversion mode and two simultaneous conversions
- Dropped some FLAC files on 'Sync Handheld' in the Action Window
- Started the sync
- Watching it in the Action Window or 'Details' view worked as expected
Maybe you could use Help > Logging like Jim mentioned, and email a log to matt at jriver dot com after the crash?
Thanks.
