Long story short and any advice appreciated.
Re-installed Windows 7 on C drive that had an old archive of 50GB ripped CD's (all flac format). Recovered them using GetDataBack software. Although every folder and file is present and the sizes are exactly the same as the original size (no loss in data size), some of the files (totally random - approx 10-20%) won't play. As an example in 1 folder out of 20 tracks, just track 17 won't play all others play OK.
- Would you expect all of the files to be the same size (post-recovery) although they appear to be broken/won't play?
- Anything I can do to check all for quality?
- Any further recommendations?
Cheers
Ian
P.S. Is it just me or does this forum time-out every other request?

Found a superb tool 'AudioTester' that has highlighted every corrupt file accurately in minutes. Also tests these audio files; MP3, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, WavPack & Monkey's Audio files.
