What would cause the 3-D Album view or 3-D Image view to appear blank rather than having the thumbnails show?
This is on a new desktop with Windows 7, touch-screen, i5 processor

BUMP . . . . .
any clues??
thumbnails have been built, so I'd imagine they should show

Turn off the option for anti-aliasing. It's an Intel graphics bug.
-
This can be a part of that Intel bug, yes. Other graphic related problems is often caused by drivers or old directX versions as well. Though, this is probably not the case here.
Another note. 3D wall is now a part of the List Types under the More menu. So, you can browse all views with 3D wall. If you have an old view called Showroom this might be corrupted now perhaps?

Is that an MC setting or a Windows setting?
-
I had the same problem not too long ago. It ended up being that I had to install/update DirectX from microsoft's website. After doing so, everything worked just fine.

I thought it was a MC option, but I can't find it under Theater View options though.

In MC, General/Video Card/Hardware .../Custom
-
That worked, thanks

Dear JRiver team,
I think Intel may have quashed this sandybridge anti-aliasing bug with the latest driver from a few days ago (8.15.10.2430).
I've just updated my MoBo BIOS ( Asus p8h67m evo) and the intel driver and the 3D album wall now works glitch free on the HQ settings (16x AA and 16x AF).
Unless this is old hat and you've fixed this silently in the meantime and I've been asleep?
Cheers,
SBR
