Title: encoders???

Hi all,
I ve ripped all my cds in flac format with setting 8.M assuming that format 8 is the better quality but can not find any info regarding flac encoding on the help/user manual. There is not even a flac format in the manual.
Can anybody help me and let me know if m right about 8 settings or m i doing something wrong.

Flac is lossless, there is no "better quality", the quality is perfect no matter what you choose. A high number makes the encoding take longer time and make the files a little bit smaller. 8 is a fine choice.

I always wondered why it took so long on 8.Guess now i know.
