...as opposed to playing in MJ. I checked all file associations in MJ, and unchecked all in RealOne. Still no go. I'd rather have only MJ pop up when I'm streaming Real files. Anybody recognize this prob?

They steal file types. In MJ 8.0, you can tell MJ to steal them back. Media Scheduler will then run in the background and give them a tough time.
Settings/Options/File Associations is where you can do this.
