Hi,
Before buying the version 1.6, I will know if I can read MKV on my network.
I have done all the configuration seen in the different threat about MKV files and JRiver.
But no one of my MKVs files are supported.
If I test with Nerio MediaHome 4 Essentials, I have no issues. On my server and with MPC it works.
I really want to use your application because it's the best of all. But without MKV :(
I tried with the version 1.5 and 1.6
I use a LG BX580 as DLNA client who support MKV.
Thanks for your help because I tried everything
PS : Sorry for my bad English.

Please test the build from the download page.

Please test the build from the download page.
Just to clarify a bit, they are currently testing some new stuff which may impact the reliability of video playback in the most recent builds of MC. When this is done, it should make video playback much simpler and less prone to "breakage" from conflicts with other system software than it has been in the past. However, it isn't done yet.
That's why Jim is recommending that you use the slightly older version from the Download Page here (http://www.jriver.com/download.html), rather than the "latest" build on this forum. If you use the "latest" build, it may work perfectly, but you may also encounter problems with video playback. It is still changing almost every day and is still in a testing phase.
I can confirm that MC handles MKV files fine, so long as your system has appropriate decoders installed. (The new stuff, when it is done, will handle MKV files fine even without having appropriate decoders installed.)
