Exit MC completely, close the Media Server, and re-try.

yet to try that. gotta re-import to get error list again... good idea for testing purposes (but im not going to search 22 drives tera a pop for 2956 file locations and drag them all in individually. would take along time.)

Are you talking videos (you mentioning 22TB made me thought that)? Because otherwise for pictures there's a simpler explanation.

majority are pics
otherwise mixture are of all media file types.

i would do drag and drop, if all the other files already is in the database there should not be any problem since it will "skip" them..

though if it is possible, split (not all at the same time)

otherwise mixture are of all media file types.

Changes are pics are incomplete (something happened to them). A few bytes will be enough. They would load just fine and you will not see any pic anomaly in, let's say, IrfanView and the likes. They would not get imported in MC (much less forgiving). Also Photoshop (another test, if you have access to it) will complain that such files are incomplete but will load them though.

Can't speak for the rest of the file types, but if you can't import them after several attempts I would inspect the integrity of files.
