Title: Cloud support
Post by: giamma on June 06, 2011, 06:59:36 pm

Now that Amazon/Google and Apple support music in the cloud (in different ways), will Media Center add the ability
to play my own music available in those clouds ?

I think this would be a killer feature.
Assuming Amazon/Google and Apple provider open APIs to get to it.

my 2 cents

is it not better to play your own music in your own cloud ?, our own River Team has put many many hours into it (you also have performer store)

I'd like to be able to upload to the cloud from the J River Media Center. Gizmo should then access the files from the cloud and offer the same filter functionalities (views, dynamic playlists) as the Media Center does. This would allow playing music on the Android system without having the computer with Media Center switched on. How much fun would it be to browse through your music collection on a tablet and to listen to the music wherever you want!

I love my own Media Center cloud, it's awesome with Gizmo on my android devices.
I use it all the time.

But it would be nice to also be able to browse from my Amazon/Google/Apple music clouds, seamlessly.

I think it would be an awersome feature of media center and gizmo.
