I realize that I am probably a very small minority that is experiencing this problem. I run a triple monitor setup, each monitor is 1600X1200 for a total resolution of 4800X1200.
When I try and stretch MC across all three monitors I run into a problem.
It stretches across two and half monitors with no problem.

But if I try and stretch it a little bit further, this happens.

Notice how the top with the controls and bottom of MC disappear?
Is there a maximum width that MC can display or something?

Please send three gaming-quality monitors to JRiver, Inc. and we'll do some testing ;)
Seriously, you're probably triggering some overflow protection code in the skin item drawing. We'll take a look.

Cool, thanks Matt.
Wish I could help with some monitors but it's not quite in the budget right now :P

That setup would be good for some of my views. My tagging views have over 50 columns (already had about six years ago, probably more now).
Well, in the filelist, you only have a few fields at hand, while in the tag info, you'll see all fields available...
It depends. Here are the fields I have made visible in my All Media view:

I scrolled the view horizontally between the screen shot slices. I am so comfortable with using the horizontal scroll bar that I don't normally use the Tag Info window at all.

I noticed this effect too on my monitors. Maybe there are improvements possible here besides the problem described. Assign split views per screen (snap to), something like that, instead of manual resizing. Just thinking out loud.

And the man says gamin-quality, not anything less. :)

Matt, did you ever get a chance to look at this?
-
It's fixed next build.
Skin items had a sanity check so they wouldn't draw larger than 4096 pixels in either direction. I knocked it up to 8192, so bump this thread in a few years when you have six monitors.

Awesome, thanks Matt. You guys rule.

I have 8 on one of my machines that runs MC (the video wall in a 4x2 grid). I never need the Standard View UI to scale across them all, though, so I'd never noticed this issue.

Got a pic? I'd love to see that!

glynor,
I split your post to a new thread:
Thanks. That probably makes more sense.
