Title: Where has the stream selection gone??
Post by: audunth on June 17, 2011, 08:32:22 am
Hi,

Where has the stream selection in the right-click menu gone? Now the only choice is subtitles on/off, before I could select audio and subtitle streams in the right click menu. How do I select streams now?

Is it this change in build 100 that's responsible?

10. Changed:  When possible, video stream selection is made before DirectShow graph is built.

if so, please change it back...

Okay, when enabling Red October (HQ) the stream selection is back and subtitles work.

I'm using Windows Merit because I want full control over filters/decoders used. With Windows merit, I can't select audio/subtitle streams (without leaving display view and right-clicking the Haali tray icon, which isn't practical since I use a remote and select streams with the arrows), and setting subtitles to on isn't doing anything. It seems VSFilter (DirectVobsub) isn't loaded, even if I select it under file types. Tried both the normal and auto-loading versions, and also set Autoload VSfilter to yes in the Haali Media Splitter options. This was all good before. Why isn't MC loading exactly the filters I specify under File types anymore?

Anyone? Is this a bug? How do I get VSfilter to load using Windows Merit?

Should be fixed in Build 115 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=64786.msg434118#msg434118) or higher.
