Can we please have a setting to disable the angled view of the cover art in the Play Now screen? Pretty Please.
This is more classy (IMHO) and less annoying, it also uses much less GPU power and hence less chance of kicking the GPU into a higher fan speed mode, which will create additional unwanted noise.
Please ...
Many Thanks,
DM

It's already there:

However, the presentation of the cover art under the theatre view is not completely identical. Even if I switch to the plain mode the cover art is still shown as rotated (less than in the rotated mode but not completely plain as in the standard view)?
Mr ChriZ, what skin are you using? It looks really good.

Sorry I missed that you were talking about Theater View.
Not sure if it's possible to make it flat in theater view.
For reference I doubt it's using more GPU usage as the whole thing is continuously being rendered in DirectX in any case. As a result rendering such a simple object on screen would have minimal like 0.000001% difference over not having there or flat even on a very basic graphics card.
Minolotus the skin is the 2nd Stage skin which you can find in my signature.
Thanks,
Chris

Thanks Mr ChriZ for the great skin, I really like it.

If the Album is no long turning in the Playing Now (Theater View), it may redcue a bit of GPU power ...
But for looks, straight view is definitely last longer. The angled view, once the novelty has wear off, it is quite annoying ...

i too would really like a straight view: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=56611.0
when it would follow the settings in standard view it would be fine with me.. the angled view is really ugly imho.
