Title: How to ask MC to search for broken/missing file links?
Post by: deskmate on June 21, 2011, 06:42:44 am
As titled, how can I ask MC to run a search on my whole library and then show me all the broken/missing links (i.e. the source files have been deleted outside MC), so that I can manually delete/fix the reference in the library myself?

Thanks,

DM

Thanks, will try.

It is quite amazing  :o that one has to create a special action via command line in order to do such simple, essential and fundamental thing.

MC is great, but can we please get the essential's right before we are tackling DNLA or Blue-Ray ...  ?

By default the program automatically fixes or removes broken links.

It's one of the jobs of auto-import.

Make sure you have it configured in Tools > Import > Auto-Import.
