WinAmp does it, how to do it in MJ?
I wish MJ would at least break it down into nice columns with 'artist name' | 'song title' | 'length' | 'genre' | 'bit rate' | 'size' |
And only for tracks you want (say a right click option added to playing now section)

Have you checked out the web control plug in... Thats exactly what this does...
IMHO its needs to be redone so that the HTML (or XML / DHTML) etc can be done by us with the command and control side of the plug in kept in its C|PLS||PLS|... As it is there is sooooo much potential to this side of it but I dont have coding skills to recode the server side c|PLS||PLS| code... I have been reading up on parsing (PHP seems easiest to understand) to work by striping the HTML output and reconfiguring the look but really this is a clude as getting to the HTML wrapper makes more sense...
Plus it needs to auto start if enabled...

Have you looked at File->Export Playlist ? It can export in html, and it seems to have all you are asking for

>> It can export in html
and other formats
The html can then be imported into excel

or if you want a decent database - mySQL

Now thats interesting....
[THEORY]
Make album based playlists
Export to HTML
Import HTML into XCEL
Use spreadsheet and tools on remote central to create pronto CCF's of all albums (nice tools BTW)...
Use pronto for no display on control of album browsing and launching !!!
[/THEORY]
Anything wrong with the above ?? I am leaving for some RL (Real Life TM) facetime with sister in law so cant check for couple of days but sounds cool to me....
Only question is what kind of file is made for a playlist and where is it stored... Does simply double clicking that file in 'doze start MJ as its default handler ??
