Title: Problem with streaming music to XBMC on an Apple TV
Post by: wig on June 25, 2011, 05:09:33 pm
I'm experiencing problems with streaming to my Apple TV with XBMC installed.

It plays fine for a couple songs, then stops playing. On the server machine I get the error 'There was a problem controlling the DLNA device. Double check your device, server and network settings'. When I click OK on the error window, playback continues.

Any thoughts? I'll be glad to supply more info about my setup.

Not all DLNA Renderers are controllable.

You've hacked XMBC onto an Apple TV?
Seems like it should work, I was running tests to XBMC on a Mac without trouble (version 10.1 IIRC).
What version of MC?
Note that XBMC DLNA is pretty fluid. You may run into trouble with particular versions...
