Title: Plugin for MJ to respond to WinAmp controls?
Post by: Swordsman74 on May 30, 2002, 08:05:52 am
Hi all,
Many congrats to releasing v8 - you have the best media software product out there - bar none.
A question: do you think it is possible that there could be a plugin that could allow MJ to respond to WinAmp control calls (play, pause, next, etc)?  For example, StatBar offers WinAmp controls, but even if you point the WinAmp path to go to MJ instead, the controls won't work.  Ideally, these other companies should offer MJ input controls instead, but until you surpass WinAmp in popularity (which I think you will), it would be cool to have the flexibility to use the controls available today.  Let me know what you think!

 Thanks!
    Matt L.

Under Interact/Developer's Zone above, there is an SDK for interface plugins.  If you write code, you can probably use this to do it.
