Title: Play files from memory instead of disk...

When I select "play files from memory instead of disk", does it use actual physical memory or vitual memory like page files? Or both?

I am very curious.  ?

It uses physical memory.  Virtual memory is only used when your system runs out of physical memory, which is rare on a good machine.
