Title: clients not playing videos - adding required components,server is preparing file

came home tonight to watch a movie, i updated server and all clients. and none of the clients will play .avi's when i chose  amovie i get adding required componets, then a black screen that says server is preparing file. 

Any ideas please from you night owls?
I'd like to relax to a movie

Can your clients see the media files in explorer?

Jmone, Thats exactly what it was.. On clients i had taken off my passwords, and done a reg tweak so that upon reboot it would skip windows login screen and bring the family straight to jriver. Well by doing so that made the clients not have access to shares. Once i re-enabled the password on client machines. it worked again.
