Title: Install problem

After reinstalling MC 16 , about time installer reports it is installing MC center plug-in's, almost all icons on desktop change to reflect that they are MC icons. Properties dialog boxes list ".exe" files as MC related programs, (among others). Task manager shows three instances of MC running. It looks as if MC is finished installing, but never opens.  ?

Worked great before I had to un-install and attempt to reinstall. Any Ideas? :o

Update to version 16.0.121.  This was just fixed:
