Title: Wasapi no longer working with my Lynx AES-16

After a computer crash and re-installation of Windows 7, I am restoring all my settings and programs. I have a Lynx Aes-16 card which has resolutions up to 192/24. Before the crash everything worked fine using Wasapi. Now when I try to use Wasapi I am getting an error message from J River that in essence says my hi-rez files can't be played. What could be the matter?

Welcome.  Check the options under Audio and select the sound card.

Lynx recommends using ASIO (instead of WASAPI) with their hardware, so you might try that instead.

I am also using Lynx (aes+aurora), and I prefer to use ASIO. WASAPI wirks fine, but why not use what Lynx recommends and is dead stable?
