Title: Moved podcast-folder, now missing in library.
Post by: flac.rules on July 03, 2011, 04:54:12 pm
I moved my podcast-folder to another drive. Now my podcast (more or less as expected i guess) is missing links in the library.  What's the right way to link back all the library files to the right place on the disk? (I guess its a general question, the same problem could occur if i move for instance my music)

This link (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Re-rip_existing_music_and_keep_tags_and_statistics) may be of assistance. You can Find/Replace the prefix of your old folder with the new folder's prefix (so, Find C:\Old\Path\to\Music, Replace with D:\New\Path\to\Music on all affected tracks)

Thanks, that worked fine, I tried earlier with filename (path), or something, but for some reason it didn't work when i tried it.

A couple of files are not there though, is there a way to force a redownload of a file MC thinks it already has downloaded?
