Post by: zugisland16 on July 06, 2011, 09:49:39 am
I have JRiver up and running on a ps3 to be used as my client from a windows 7 server. I am able to stream and find most of my videos but am unable to stream wmv files which PS3 should support . I have used in advanced convert unsupprted files to mp4 wihch ps3 also says it  supprts and which i can play other files with. When i try to play on ps3 i am getting either unsupprted file or corrupted data error..even though same files will play on server ...any help would be appreciated ..thanks Vic

In general, the PS3 preset should be your best bet for playing back video. If you haven't already, delete the generic DLNA server and add a new one based on the PS3 preset.

It looks like there was a DLNA flag problem for mpeg2/DVD conversion, fixed in the next version (>=16.0.129)
