Title: Streaming BluRay content with MC16?
Post by: BartMan01 on July 06, 2011, 03:38:40 pm
So far I have been unsuccessful in getting BluRay to stream 'natively' using MC16 with a WDTV Live Plus client.  What I am trying to do is as follows:

Rip BluRay content to folder structure.
For 'single title' disks - using the standard import process.  For 'multi-title' discs - importing each .mpls index as a separate track.

This works fine for local playback or playback on the HTPC upstairs using a shared MC16 library.  It does not work when playing back to my WDTV downstairs, even with 'always convert' set.

Should I just throw in the towel and go back to using MKV files, or should this be possible?
