Title: DVD Playback Does Not WOrk on MC 16

I have MC 15 and MC 16 loaded on machine (evaluating MC 16 for upgrade). DVD's (both disc and rips to hard drive) play perfectly on MC 15 but MC 16 shows black screen and does nothing.  Using recommended RO-Standard mode.  Give me a hint folks.  I'm not willing to upgrade if a primary element does not work.  Help me out here.

DVD playback works for me on XP Pro SP3.

Perhaps MC16 has not been able to download the needed codecs on your computer.

Alternatively you could try the merit based video playback option (at least as a test). MC16 should then be able to load the same filters that MC15 uses.
