Does anyone have a harmony remote 1100 that can possibly help me to program mine to control MC??

I have the One... Can't imagine the actual programming on the Logitech software front would be too different.
Let me know If you think I can help, but other than that I think there are a few people here using the Harmony remotes so you should find someone :-)

Maid, do you have a reciever that plugs into your pc that will take commands from the remote? These come with a remote you buy for a pc. See the picture of the JRiver media center remote, it has a small box that plugs into the pc via USB.

I have harmony 890 remote and I can use it just fine with mc16. I am using the software HIP from byremote. Search on Google for it. The process to program it is a bit non intuitive but it works very well once you program it.

You should be able to "teach" the Harmony and after a couple of buttons it should say that it has a similar remote in its database.

I've got a 1000 (older 1100), bought the J River remote to get a receiver and it works great with no learning. What kind of problems are you having?
