Looks great.

I think you're in the mood for some Mexican food now.  Interested in a great red chicken enchilada recipe, that is a proven winner?

I Will Need To Look For Some Tomatillos I Have Not Seen Any For A Long Time Around Here.

I Have Never Cooked With Them, But I Want To.

I Will Look Tomorrow.

I haven't used the tomatillo variant yet, only the red sauce version.

Oh, and they freeze great, so make plenty... a couple dozen!

They Did Not Have Any tomatillo At Foodlion Or Walmart, so it may be out of season or just not supplied here right now.

Don't know if you saw my edit in the post above.  I've only made the red chili sauce version.

Fresh tomatillos may be a regional thing.  They're abundant year round here in California.  Canned may be substituted in a pinch, but fresh are better once you've learned how to use them properly.  Canned would be in the ethnic foods section in most markets, but again, stock may be regional.

Me Too

I have seen some of the food stores on TV, some of them are really nice.

In our town We have no fresh fish stores here. Our Mexican area is about 5 feet long in food lion, and maybe 10 in walmart.

Yes For Sure.

The problem is Foodlion chases all the other companies out of town.

We had Hannafords, Wilson's (Foodlion bought them) Kroger quit about 10 years ago, they could not compete, Acme Tried and had to close. Winn Dixie had financial issues.

Basically Foodlion has a store about every 5 blocks, and 5 super walmarts.

IGA around here is a joke.

The piggly wiggly about 30 mins away is so run down it looks like the hood.

At Any Rate I Did Find A Bottle Of "Salsa Verde" By Herdez It Has tomatillos in it (I just read the bottle)
