I have my flac files on a Wireles NAS (Qnap TS-219+)and it sims the only way I can add files to JR MC is by drag and drop, and it takes forever.Or is there an otherway to do it?

Have you:

- added the music directory to Auto import, perhaps its UNC path?
- ensure the flac file type is enabled?

I can imagine scanning / analyzing the files over wireless will be slow.

I imported  all the tracks lastnight,it took 6-7 hours..and all seems to work playback and all.

That's a long time.  Wired would be better.

Go to Tools > Import > Auto Import

and add the folder(s) you want to auto import from, for a given media type.

Luckily I made a backup of the first palylist so I just had to clean the playlist with the double one and import the first playlist again..

My MC is wireless connected to a QNAP 209. I import my whole libray in about 15 minutes. It consists of 3600 songs - 90% FLAC.

Sorry for the late reply.  In the future, you can just sort by [Date Imported] if you have dups, or by other fields such as [Filename (path)] (if the path was different) or the volume.

We'd need more info to learn why your tracks become duplicated.  It sounds like they were already in the library and adding the directory to auto import added them again, but since the path was different, it appeared by looking at only the audio tags that the tracks were duplicated.

Don't fret about this next time - it is easily corrected.
