Title: 512MB Ram OK?

Hello,
I'm installing 16 on a Dell Dimension 1100 with 512MB ram in good working order. It will only be used to run MC, won't be connected to internet. I'll be using RAM playback. Should this be OK?

Media Center isn't very memory hungry unless you're playing HD video or have an enormous library with a lot of metadata.

Memory usage at or below 50 MB is pretty normal when playing audio.  You can minimize the program to unload extra pieces of the database, skin, etc. and to eliminate any drawing for an even smaller footprint.
