I'd love it if I there was an option for Media Center to stay on top... especially when in mini view. That way you can always see what's playing...
"stay on top no matter what!"
if you think about it it's practically a rhyme, which leaves little excuse for not implementing it.

Try the Detached Display view. Ctrl-6 will get you there. Right click on it for the option "Always on Top".

yup, very nice indeed :)
still, if mini view could also stay on top, I'd be even happier.

You can.
Grab a copy of Always On Top:
http://www.labnol.org/software/tutorials/keep-window-always-on-top/5213/ (http://www.labnol.org/software/tutorials/keep-window-always-on-top/5213/)
Install.
Disable Transparency of Mini-view: MC Options > General > Interface > Make inactive Mini-View transparent
Once Always On Top is running, select the window you want on top. Hit Control-Space to keep it on top.

If you switch to any of the mini views besides Slim, you can then right click anywhere on the view, select Options, and select Always On Top. Now if you switch back to Slim it will always be on top.
My favorite mini view is Paradigm Essence. Go to the Skins and Plugins (http://accessories.jriver.com/mediacenter/accessories.php) page, select Mini View Skins, click on Most Recent and you will be able to find it.

Make a Dock-Option! that usually keeps things on top ... Posted that in Jukebox as well... The dock like the Winamp dockbar would stay on top of other fullscreened progs (like foxitreader)
