Title: Fit Window and 100% Options are Stuck together
Post by: apturbo on August 11, 2011, 05:51:19 pm
v.149

Right click on display, choose "window", the "fit window" and "100%" are both selected.  I just want "fit window"... this is odd behavior and causing me issues.  In some cases and in the past have been able to select only "fit window".  Experience this behavior while playing standard def movies.  Did not have this problem in previous versions of mc.

Please advise.

Sometimes fitting to the window is 100%

Not in my case, 100% and fit window are 2 different things.  Besides, why are they both available as options?  I can tell you that in older versions and in the case of blu-ray, the options are one or the other.  In my case, playing a movie on a 4:3 screen, "100%" stretches the image and is not desirable.

What is the size of the window during playback, and what is the size of your video?

When they do not coincide, you can choose one from another.

Neither option should stretch the image, unless your aspect ratio setting is wrong.  If you play blueray, chances are the video has large dimension, and it may get cropped (not stretched) if the screen is not large enough while being played at 100%.
