Does anybody have any experience using the new HP Touchpad...I am looking for it to operate not only MC but someday (hopefully sooner vs later) to control devices in a home network environment.

There may be a few deals around soon on the HP Touchpad. HP just announced they would exit the tablet and phone businesses.

There was a report yesterday that Best Buy has had trouble selling them:

hope android or windows 8 is ported.

Just picked one up for £115. ;D

I managed to pick up a Touchpad for the $99 price ;D
At this price point, people are scooping them up as fast as possible, and the demand for apps and accessories is very strong right now.
Any chance of putting a webOS Touchpad app out? It can even be a homebrew app. I'd love to use a slimmed down version of MC16 on this thing. The native music app is adequate at best.
There could be 350,000 to 500,000 Touchpads in people's hands soon. That's a good sized audience to introduce MC to.

cynogenmod is close to putting Android on the Touchpad.........
-
OMG if we can have MJ or MC on droids or HP webOS OMG OMG OMG hell yeah!
-
HP webOS is dead. But $99 is cheap. ;)

Agreed. If anything, development on webOS has been growing: http://www.precentral.net/touchpad-breaks-1000-app-milestone
Don't count webOS out. Regardless if HP keeps and licenses or sells it, it seems to have the goods.

It would be great to have a webOS app.
