Title: Album art doesn't show fully
Post by: lostvibrations on August 21, 2011, 11:30:38 am
This is a problem which happens only sometimes, and seems to be random.

Sometimes when I click on an album in "standard view" mode, only the very top of the album art shows :

But, when I run my mouse over the image, the rest of it appears!

Any ideas? Thanks  :)

What is that "No Cover Art Available" image?  Did you replace the stock Media Center artwork?

I'm guessing this happens when it hasn't built the thumbnail for a file, then builds the thumbnail, but somehow the list doesn't update the view fully.  You could build all thumbnails using Options > Tree & View, or tell auto-import to keep thumbnails built.

If there's an easy way to reproduce it, please let us know.

Thanks.

Thanks Matt. I did not replace the stock image - I can only assume that it was changed when I switched skins/themes at some point.

I will look into the options that you have said and report back.

Hi Matt,

I tried the build all thumbnails feature that you said. Interestingly, I tried it a few times (spaced over a day or so) and each time it found quite a number of apparently unbuilt thumbnails. But still I am experiencing the same problem!

Thanks
