Title: Import problems with two libraries
Post by: AoXoMoXoA on August 23, 2011, 04:30:44 pm
"Watch Folders" or Media Import folders do not remain unique to the Library they are set within, but 'contaminate' other library's settings.

I wish to keep 2 libraries in my laptop, one for travel including only the mp3 files on the laptop's drive and another containing only the Flac files on my expansion drives which I use at home. MC refuses to allow me to set each library separately for it's own unique import folders.

Double check the autoimport options.  You can edit each directory to tell MC what to import.

I've done that Jim, but each time I switch to the second library it has the import folders from the first library's settings.

After changing the second library back to import from the folders I desire, I return to the first library to find it now has the same folders set as the second library . . . .

they will NOT remain independently set.

AoXoMoXoA, do you have db integrity ? check the thumbnail folder if there are 2 inique GUID's like {HAJ06DAF-EB6A-432C-B66C-777A0F19F9F8}, so you don't use the "same" library/database

Yup, there was a problem there, fixed now.

Thanks
