i often load MANY files - 3-5000 in shuffle mode for a certain genre. well after moving around in jriver sometimes my playing now looses focus with the current playing track, so i have to scroll down to find something that has green playing now symbol and thats lightly highlighted, if i click on that file then it becomes bright blue which is easy to see, (i'm using the black and blue skin.
Thanks

Leave Playing Now and come back and it'll scroll to the playing item.

What Matt says. But the currently playing item is poorly highlighted in that skin. To change that, find the <Colors> line in the <LIST > section of C:\Program Files (x86)\J River\Media Center 16\Skins\Standard View\Black and Blue\main.xml change HotText="ffffff" (for white, or some other color that's more visible).

Thanks Guys For Reply
Well i tried changing it, and it stayed the same.
i did a search for HotText it found one in the middle of all the code ( <Colors Text="6f7889" Back="17171f" SelectedText="c3c3c3" SelectedBack="008bfa" HotText="ffffff" GridLineBack="202026" Gridline="414141" />) , and then one under header, i chose the one that was NOT header and pasted in ffffff, then restarted jriver and nothing changed. There is only one main.html in that location. sorry rick, am i missing something?
i took ascreenshot of what it looks like when nothing is selected (top pic) you'll notice it's tough to spot the green playing now icon on bottom left side but once that song is selected then it's dark blue. Matt's tip works well, but it would still be great to be able to scroll through quick and just spot a highlighted track.
If this is possible to change (make whole track always highlighted)...question - UPDATES - is that going to over write my color changes each update?

Sorry, I assumed you would be using a list in PN. I don't know how to change a thumbnail caption. I assume it's in main.xml somewhere.
UPDATES - is that going to over write my color changes each update?
Not if you change the name of its folder. To distinguish a modified skin from the original in the View menu, you'll also have to change the Skin Name in main.xml.

ok, thanks. i'll save the default main.xml, and play with a backup copy, and see if i can figure it out.
Thanks
