Hello. I just recently downloaded MJ 14.0.166 to Windows 7 Pro 32-bit.
The program works very nicely on my first use. However, when I close it and reopen and play music, I get a message saying:
"Media Jukebox was unable to play any of the files.
Please make sure that the path in Media Library points to the right location and that the files are not being filtered by Access Control."
This is after I import the files from a folder using MJ 14. The path is correct, but all of my files in the folder are erased and replaced by numerous .jmd files.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I did try to search and found a topic, but it was unresolved. Thank you.

Don't use the install directory to store media files or MC's library files (the jmd files).

How do I change that? All I did was import from the folder. By importing, it erases my music after I close the program.
-
Normal setup is at least these directories:
1. Program is installed to something like Program Files/JRiver/MC16
2. Library files (jmd) -- this is MC's database of your files and is stored in something like this location:
C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\J River\Media Center 16\Library
3. Media files in something like C:\Music, C:\Video, etc.

I appreciate the help.
MJ is in D:\ProgramFiles
Music is in G:\Music
In the options, it tells me that Library Backups are in C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\JRiver\MediaJukebox14\LibraryBackups
The items in the folder match what is placed in G:\Music

Are you running the installer as an Admin. These paths don't look correct.
-
Yes, I am running them as the administrator. I chose not to install MJ to C:\

Installed it to the default location (C:\....) and everything works fine. Thanks for the help.
